traditional architecture, spacious bathroom, futon comfort
Noise from wooden floors makes it hard to relax!!! Given the traditional vibe, it would be nice to soundproof the upstairs rooms a bit better, just to keep the clattering guests at bay!!!

10/10
What a gem! The folks runnin’ this place treat ya like family, and that five-course dinner was something else. Had a lovely room with a garden view, and enjoyed sippin’ tea out there. Just wish the bathroom was a tad bigger, but that’s real nitpickin’. Can't overlook how sweet everyone was, truly.

Couples looking for a cozy getaway
I stayed for 4 nights with my partner and we were blown away by the personal touch from the staff. One evening, the chef personally came out to explain each dish of the five-course meal, the food was exquisite and it felt like a gourmet experience every night.
It wasn't exactly inexpensive, but honestly it matched the level of service and comfort we received.

The staff exhibited extraordinary friendliness and provided excellent recommendations for local activities, making the stay particularly enjoyable. Dining was a highlight, with French-style dinners that were exceptional. The location was conveniently situated, allowing for easy walks to many local attractions and markets. However, minor noise from nearby restaurants during the evening was noticeable, which could be disruptive for light sleepers. Also, the limited municipal transit can be a drawback for those preferring public transport.

I really enjoyed my stay, especially sleeping on the futon bed for the first time—it was surprisingly comfy! The relaxing garden area offered a perfect spot to unwind with tea. A lovely nook to enjoy the fresh air. Just a heads up, the building is a bit old, so you can hear some noise between floors, but it didn't bother me at all. 😊

The spacious room featured a beautiful garden view and a cozy seating area for enjoying tea amidst the greenery. The warm and inviting atmosphere, paired with attentive staff who provided great local recommendations, created a lovely stay. Breakfast included delightful homemade delicacies and sweet biscuits, making mornings special. However, minor noise from nearby restaurants at night was noticeable, and some sounds could be heard from other guests. Additionally, the bathroom, while comfortable, could be more modern to complement the overall experience.
